Short Walk In Florence: Piazza Santa Croce

Starting from the hotels in the centre of Florence, one of the itineraries not to miss is the one of Piazza Santa Croce, one of the most beautiful square of Florence. The square is in the historical center, not far from the Duomo (15 minutes walking), passing through Piazza della Signoria and Borgo dei Greci. Although a map of the city is available, for free, in all of the hotels halls of the centre of Florence. If your accommodation is not so close to the centre many services are available to reach the centre: taxi, driven car rentals, buses and train for who arrive from the suburbs.

Piazza Santa Croce is placed in front of the church of Santa Croce, in the centre of Florence, and take its name from it, that square was built in medieval times to host the great number of people that attended to the religius ceremonies. In Renaissance times the square was also used to the fun activities of Florence, as festivals, shows, rides and games like the Calcio storico (Historical Football). Overlooking the square is the church of Santa Croce, that was built from the Franciscan Friars between the 13th and 14th century, with a facade built only in the 19th century in neogothical style, that have on its left the monumental statue of Dante Alighieri. Dated from the same period of the facade and of the Dante's statue of the square, on the opposite side of the church, there is a baroque fountain, originally realised by Pietro Maria Bardi and remaed in the 19th century by Roberto Manetti. Entering the church from the main door, walking along the main aisle, is noticeable immediately the austerity and the vastenss of the enviroments, and on the perimeter many chapels (some of them frescoed by Giotto, Maso di Banco etc..) destinated to the bury of the noble of Florence (Peruzzi, Bardi, Baroncelli, Pulci.Bardi) that paid, with their donations, the built of the church. Santa Croce is famous in the world also to be the burial of many very important people of the policy, of the history and of the litterture of Italy, here there are the burial of Ugo Foscolo, Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Gioacchino Rossini, Leon Battista Alberti, Vittorio Alfieri.

Next to the church there is one of the major convent of Florence, today home of one beautiful museum, where are exposed the ancient treasures of the church, like the crufix of Cimabue.

Over Piazza Santa Croce are overlooking many palaces too, some of them especially beautiful. For example Palazzo dell'Antella thet have a long facade decored, in the first years of the 17th century, with frescoes representing themes of wisdoms and divinity.

Creatures of Cryptozoology - Bigfoot - Mothman - The Jersey Devil - and other Principalities

Along with the thousands of reports about UFO's and Alien abductions, there has been as many or more reports of mysterious creatures sighted all over the Earth, since recorded history. There are reports of these creatures in all major areas or locations on the globe, these creatures are known as Cryptids or creatures of Cryptozoology.

Here are just some of the different creatures I am talking about: Almas - Bray Road Beast - Beast Of Gevaudan - Bigfoot - Chupacabra - Dover Demon - Jersey Devil - Loch Ness Monster - Mothman - Skinwalker - Springheel Jack - Wodewose - Yowie - and numerous others.

How can there be so many sightings of these creatures by people from every race and walk of life, some over hundreds of years. The only answer can be, the creatures are real. But, if such creatures are real, then why have we never found a dead Bigfoot or any scientific proof of any of the other creatures ?

My thoughts have taken me to the belief that these creatures are the same beings that pose as aliens, they are Fallen Angels and demons, indeed I believe these creatures of Cryptozoology are Spiritual beings.

Spiritual beings can change shape at will, and take on any form, from that of a creature from a nightmare to that of a beautiful woman. They can become blacker than the night, invisible, or solid as a rock. They can look like a triangle shaped UFO then change or morph into another shape. They can levitate, walk, run, fly, or disappear and travel to another part of the planet at the speed of a thought.

Spiritual creatures have great non-human strength. They can give off odors, both foul or as pleasant as a fresh flower. They can communicate by expressed words, thoughts (telepathy), they can speak foreign or lost languages that they have heard over hundreds or thousands of years. They know the past and maybe even some future events.

Spiritual creatures can leave physical traces of hairs from living animals, and even extinct animals, and they can leave hairs from genetically altered species. There will never be found a true Bigfoot hair, or bone, since they are not truly flesh and blood creatures. They are spiritual beings, and they do not have to conform to our laws of physics, unless they choose so.

Remember the Holy Bible says even Satan and his angels (spiritual creatures) can show themselves as angels of light. Spiritual creatures cannot be killed, captured or proven by any scientific equipment or means, unless they choose so.

Native Americans (Indians) have talked about Bigfoot and other cryptids for years. They know these beings are spiritual creatures that can change shape at will. Along with the bigfoot hot spots or areas of major sightings, there are also UFO sightings. Some folks have even spotted a bigfoot creature, in the area right after witnessing strange lights or some other UFO.

These strange beings, not being limited to Bigfoot, but numerous other strange creatures, seem to populate most major world areas. I believe this is a key or important bit of data that may be telling us what these beings are, I believe they are another class or group of fallen angels called Principalities.

The Bible tells us there are beings called Principalities. In Romans 8:38 it says - "I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, . . . shall be able to separate us from the love of God" (Rom 8:38). Some say that this verse is talking about powerful world leaders such as princes or presidents and kings, but I do not believe so. I believe it is talking about a powerful group of beings (fallen angels) that preside over regions of the earth. These beings control legions of lesser beings, or demons (evil spirits) under them in these areas of the world. These principalities quite likely, report directly to Satan and get their orders right from him.

Another Bible passage that makes me believe that these creatures of cryptozoology, spiritual beings are the Principalities mentioned in the Holy Bible is this passage in: Ephesians 6:12: "'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". That verse tells us what these Principalities truly are, they are NOT flesh and blood creatures, so how can they be earthly princes, presidents or kings ? They are indeed spiritual beings.

One particular being of Cryptozoology I want to talk a little about is the Mothman of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Most of the highly reported mothman sightings and encounters occurred between November 12, 1966, and December 1967. Like in numerous Bigfoot sighting areas, the whole Point Pleasant, and mothman sighting area has been very active with UFO sightings going back 500 years to native American days.

One person who had a close encounter with the mothman reported: "It had a face that had sunken places for eyes, but it was clear they were looking at me and I looked at it. I was frozen with fear from the feeling of the evil power in the room. It was the personification of evil. I could do nothing, I was powerless, then over and over in my mind I kept saying the blood… the blood has power… dear Jesus, the blood of Jesus', then it was like pouring salt on a snail… it went into nothing, and was gone"

Here, this being was defeated or repelled by using what is called 'Spiritual Weapons', using the power involved in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and his name. The word of God tells us that demons (as well as fallen angels) tremble at the name of Jesus (James 2:19): "Because God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above all names (Philippians 2:9)."

The reason these principalities manifest as these monsters, is they feed off the fear that is given off by the humans that encounter them.
